Skinner Fillies Flourish06/11/2019 5:43 PM -
Jason Skinner co-owned and trained fillies swept both $20,000 Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund (DSBF) divisions for 3-year-old pacing fillies Tuesday at Harrington Raceway.
Jason and Tim Skinner's In And Out Again ($2.40, Tim Tetrick) and Joan Dalphon, Elanor Laws and Jason Skinner's Biggiessecondshot ($4.60, Ross Wolfenden) were both victorious in the first of two DSBF elimination legs, both in 1:55.2.
In And Out Again set all the fractions in her fifth win of the season over Miss Giggles and Rainy Day May. The daughter of Roddy's Bags Again swept her eliminations and won the $100,000 final at Dover Downs on April 3.
Biggiessecondshot assumed command just after the quarter mile and never relented in her win over Roddy's At It Again and Anneke. The No Spin Zone-sired filly recorded her fourth lifetime win.
David Banks ($3.60, Ross Wolfenden) was a 1:53.4 winner in the $18,500 Mares Open over Arts and Flowers and Artrageous. The Somebeachsomewhere 6-year-old notched her second win of the season for trainer/driver Wolfenden, who had five wins on the card.
