Mojo Terror prevails Monday08/26/2013 6:34 PM - Dandee Racing Stable and Lightning 5 Racing Stable’s Mojo Terror ($6, Eric Carlson) notched his second straight win Monday in the $19,000 Open Pace at Harrington Raceway with a 1:51.1 triumph.
The Doug Lewis-trainee sat behind pacesetting favorite Dancin Yankee, who set fractions of 26.4, 55.3 and 1:23.1. Following the favorite’s move closely throughout the mile, Mojo Terror kicked home on the outside in the final sixteenth of a mile to prevail narrowly in a tight photo finish over Dancin Yankee. Eagle All was third.
Drivers Victor Kirby and Allan Davis each had three winners. Ross Wolfenden and Dylan Davis had two wins apiece. |
