L&J Racing's EZ Noah ($3.80, Tony Morgan) notched his second straight win Monday at Harrington Raceway with a 1:52.2 triumph in the $16,000 Open Pace.
The 6-year-old Western Terror gelding has already topped his seasonal win total for races in Delaware as opposed to his winter home of Florida as the Josh Green-trainee achieved his third win of the year.
EZ Noah was placed forwardly early from post position six where he would assume command from Contraband Hanover and never relent in a one length victory. Contraband Hanover held second with People Are Crazy third.
Two of harness racing's winningest drivers of all-time each had multiple wins. Jim Morand, winner of 9,118 races, was victorious in both halves of the daily double with Bad Boy Matt ($3.00) and Shellysblockbuster ($7.20).
Morgan, winner of 15,078 races, had a driving triple, capturing the first and final legs of the pick four with Bold and Brave ($2.60), preceding his win aboard EZ Noah. Morgan also won the 12th with Winbak Carl ($12.20).
Montrell Teague also had a pair of wins on the program, a prelude to his trip north of the border with current top ranked pacer in harness racing, locally owned Wiggleitjiggleit, who will compete in the prestigious North American Cup at Mohawk Racetrack (Ontario, Canada) on June 13. Owned by Teague's father George, Wiggleitjiggleit will put his ten race unbeaten streak on the line this weekend against the continent's top sophomore pacers.
