Ireneonthemove in the spotlight TuesdayRodney L. Wyatt and Rodney K. Wyatt’s Irenonethemove ($44,60, Mike Cole) was a 21-to-1 upset winner in the $20,000 Mares Open at Harrington Raceway Tuesday with a 1:53.3 victory.
The 7-year-old Powerful Toy mare and Cole were on the front end throughout of their one length score over Perfect M Forever and Donttellmewhatodo. It was the fifth win of the year for ‘Irene’ and trainer Jason Skinner.
In the $17,500 Mares Junior Open, Joyce and Kathleen Keeler and Linda Sue Keeler’s Ladyfield ($18.60, Tony Morgan) prevailed in 1:54 over No Bad Luck and Miami Diva N.
It was one of three wins on the program for Morgan. |
