'Magician' pulls rabbit out of hat MondayWayne Givens and Niel Gargiulo’s Real Magician ($15, Jim Morand) scored a 1:52.2 victory in Monday’s $20,000 featured Open Pace at Harrington Raceway.
The Givens-trainee used a two-hole trip behind pacesetter Solano to slingshot down the passing lane for the win. It was his third win in a row as he improved to 3-for-3 at Harrington in 2010. Bad Rusty closed ground late to finish third.
Drivers Mike Cole and Tony Morgan each registered three wins on the program. |
