Dreamville Stable’s Dyladmar ($16.60, Russell Foster) was a repeat upset winner in 1:54.4 in the $18,000 Open Trot Wednesday at Harrington Raceway.
The 5-year-old Muscle Hill gelding was sent to the front and never looked back in his 3-length win over Mickey Muscles and Speed Away. It was the 7th win of the year for Dyladmar, who is trained by Edwin Gannon Jr.
On the undercard, Howard Taylor’s Bourbon Buzz ($2.40, Corey Callahan) won his 4th straight in 1:56.4 for trainer Tom Shay. The Muscle Hill 3-year-old gelding has won 5-of-14 starts this year.
Burke Racing and Weaver Bruscemi’s Rivers ($4.80, Corey Callahan) was a 1:55.4 winner in the $14,500 winners-over trot for trainer Nick Callahan.
Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund (DSBF) stakes action for 2-year-olds will headline the September 29-October 1 week of racing. The first of two rounds of eliminations will headline the week as the top 8 point earners will return for the $110,000 finals October 13-15.
Live racing will continue on a Monday through Wednesday schedule until October 22.
