A Blue Million Wires Open Trotters

Stephen Stoll and Nathan Yoder’s A Blue Million ($10, Tony Morgan) was a 1:55.3 winner in the featured $22,500 Open Trot Wednesday at Harrington Raceway.

A trio of earlier season winners in the class squared off in the 7-horse field. A Blue Million, who won on April 29, led the charge from post three to set fractions of 28.3 and 58.1 before the outer flow developed with Dyladmar and Arrowhead Hanover heading up the outer tier while Every Day Dan waited in the pocket. The field reached three-quarters in 1:27.1 and A Blue Million held off strong surges from Every Day Dan and Arrowhead Hanover late for his 7th win of the year. Trained by Tim Crissman, the 5-year-old Swan In A Million gelding notched his 22nd career win. Morgan had 4 wins on the card. Montrell Teague, Corey Callahan and Brandon Givens each had a pair of victories.
