George and Tina Dennis’ Every Day Dan ($4, Mike Cole) was a 1:55.2 winner in the $22,500 Open Trot Wednesday at Harrington Raceway.
Every Day Dan left alertly from post position three to cut the mile for the second straight start with fractions of 28.3, 58.3 and 1:27.1. With Greenspan giving chase first-over in the stretch, Every Dan Dan drew off to an open length win. Greenspan held second over Dyladmar. Trained by Joe Columbo, it was his 3rd win of the season.
In the $18,000 Open II, Tlb Racing and Dylan Davis’ Ever Clever ($5.40, Pat Berry) was a repeat winner in 1:55.1 for trainer Traci Berry.
Crissman Inc.’s Some Waratah A ($10, Tony Morgan) notched his 45th career win in the 1st race on the card. The Somebeachsomewhere gelding was a wire-to-wire winner for trainer/co-owner Tim Crissman.
