Two of Harrington Raceway’s top races Monday produced sub-1:52 miles, including a 1:51.2 triumph by Rodney Long’s Bad Rusty ($10.40, Ross Wolfenden).
The Badlands Hanover sired 5-year-old collared pacesetter Print It at three-quarters and drew clear for a three length win over Art Gram. Print It held third. It was the fifth win of the year for Bad Rusty, who is trained by Joe Hundertpfund Jr.
Meanwhile in the ensuing race, Nathan Sipple’s Art and Donna set a new lifetime mark with a 1:51.4 triumph for trainer Whitey Moore. The 6-year-old Artiscape gelding settled in behind the early pacesetter Fields of Honour A before hitting his best gear late to surge by for the win.
Driver Ross Wolfenden won three races on the program.
