Four divisions of Delaware Standardbred (DSBF) trotting stakes were contested Sunday at Harrington Raceway.
Nanticoke Racing’s Miss Snazz was the fastest winner for both sexes, as the Loge filly utilized a two-hole trip to score in 1:59.4 over What Would You Do and Punks Embrace. The winner was trained by Les Givens.
In the second filly division, Nanticoke Racing and Delbert and Mike Cain’s Status Symbol ($2.60, Tony Morgan) set all the fractions in her 2:01.2 triumph over Commando Chic and Minute Briefing. ‘Status’ was also trained by Givens to give he and Nanticoke Racing an owner/trainer double.
As for the trotting colts, Rod Allen’s Airborne Commando ($2.40) was an easy winner for trainer Carlo Poliseno in 2:02 over Strike N Cash and YMI Special. The colt completed a sweep of the first two legs. Allen also drove ‘Airborne’.
Meanwhile, Salvatore Sciarrino’s Wygant Knight ($4.60, Morgan) prevailed in 2:01.1 for trainer Mark Waterman. The Cr Commando gelding was a wire-to-wire winner over Par Done My Putt and Leland.
Morgan had four driving winners, while Mike Cole registered three.
