'Snazz' fastest of DSBF trotters Sunday

Four divisions of Delaware Standardbred (DSBF) trotting stakes were contested Sunday at Harrington Raceway.
Nanticoke Racing’s Miss Snazz was the fastest winner for both sexes, as the Loge filly utilized a two-hole trip to score in 1:59.4 over What Would You Do and Punks Embrace. The winner was trained by Les Givens.
In the second filly division, Nanticoke Racing and Delbert and Mike Cain’s Status Symbol ($2.60, Tony Morgan) set all the fractions in her 2:01.2 triumph over Commando Chic and Minute Briefing. ‘Status’ was also trained by Givens to give he and Nanticoke Racing an owner/trainer double.
As for the trotting colts, Rod Allen’s Airborne Commando ($2.40) was an easy winner for trainer Carlo Poliseno in 2:02 over Strike N Cash and YMI Special. The colt completed a sweep of the first two legs. Allen also drove ‘Airborne’.
Meanwhile, Salvatore Sciarrino’s Wygant Knight ($4.60,  Morgan) prevailed in 2:01.1 for trainer Mark Waterman. The Cr Commando gelding was a wire-to-wire winner over Par Done My Putt and Leland.
Morgan had four driving winners, while Mike Cole registered three.
