Vicki Givens, Arlene Paisley and Sharon White’s Miami Diva N ($8.20, Jim Morand) earned her 10th win of the season Tuesday by capturing Harrington Raceway’s $20,000 Mares Open in 1:53.3.
The 5-year-old Presidential Ball mare seized control of the early lead from Alpine Gold N and never looked back in her half-length victory. Alpine Gold held second while Itz Cherry Ripe N outkicked favorite Ladyfield late to finish third.
‘Diva’ has now earned more than $84,000 this season for trainer Wayne Givens.
Drivers George Dennis and Ross Wolfenden each had three wins on the program.
