Johnny Waite and Wade and Kathleen Wyatt’s Solano ($2.60, Mike Cole) closed in on $100,000 in seasonal earnings Monday with a 1:52.1 win in the $20,000 featured Open Pace on a racetrack listed as ‘good.’

 The 5-year-old No Pan Intended stallion followed pacesetter Print It around the racetrack before making his move on the final turn where he would surge by for his sixth win of the season. Print It held second, while Bad Rusty finished third. Solano increased his seasonal earnings to $94,320 for the year.

 Driver Victor Kirby won three races on the program.
