Richards Stable, Donna Sullivan and Judy Leonard's Ray's Big Bubba (1:53.4, Ross Wolfenden) equaled Badlands Nitro's track record for 2-year-old pacing colts Wednesday at Harrington Raceway with an impressive win in the second leg of the Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund (DSBF) stakes.
The Scott Gregoire-trained Badlands Hanover colt set all the fractions in his open length win as he improved to 3 for 6 lifetime.
Meanwhile, PT Stable's Al Ibad Spider (Tony Morgan) set a new track record for 2 year-old pacing geldings with a victory in 1:55.2. Jeff Bartels' Sgt Charlie (1:55.3, Ross Wolfenden) Elmer Fannin and George Teague's Mr. Wiggles (1:55.1, Jim Morand) and Erika Paradee and Ricky Pryor's Royal Camelot (1:55.3, Brandon Givens) each won their respective divisions. |
